NEW YORK -- More than a decade after leaving the Kaepa brand, which he founded and helped build, Tom Adams is back, launching three new footwear brands.
Adams about a year ago founded San Antonio-based In-Stride Inc. The firm in September shipped its first shoes, Cheer2000, designed for cheerleaders. And in April, In-Stride plans its first full launch of Cheer2000, as well as tennis shoes under the Retama brand name and U-FIT casual and athletic shoes. All three brands will be available in stores, as well as through In-Stride's Web site, in-stride.com.
