SEOUL, Feb 7 Asia Pulse - The number of car accidents in South Korea has risen in tandem with the economic recovery that has brought many cars back on the streets.

The Korea Insurance Development Institute said in a report Monday the number of car accidents covered by insurance jumped 4.38 percent from April to November last year, up from 3.42 percent during the comparable period in the preceding year.
