CAMP HILL, Pa., Feb. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Keystone Health Plan Central (KHPC) has reached an agreement with Pennsylvania Attorney General's Bureau of Consumer Protection regarding allegations that 1998 SeniorBlue rate and benefit changes were not communicated to affected members in a timely manner, even though KHPC was compliant with federal Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA) requirements.

As a result of its agreement with the Attorney General's office, KHPC will be making payments totaling $600,000 to some 3,200 SeniorBlue members and to the Bureau for continuing public protection purposes. During the next six weeks affected members will receive letters ...
