Feb. 12--GREENVILLE, Ky.--Along with the red and white blood cells racing through Albert W. Pilkington III's veins is a sort of hospital administration plasma that he got from his father.
Muhlenberg Community Hospital's new chief executive officer has been associated with hospitals since he was a child. He worked many summers, he said, learning the various facets that make up the business under the guidance of his father, a former hospital administrator.
"I take hospital administration as a calling," he said. "I actually feel at home in hospitals."
