HAWTHORNE, N.Y., Feb. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Acorda Therapeutics, Inc. will announce that it is beginning a late-stage, Phase 2 clinical trial of its lead product, Fampridine-SR, at the BIO CEO & Investor Conference in New York City. Acorda's President and CEO, Ron Cohen, M.D., is scheduled to make a presentation at the conference on Wednesday, February 16, at 3:00 p.m.
The Company expects to begin the trial for chronic (long-term) spinal cord injury (SCI) in the first quarter of 2000.
