The Florida Housing Finance Corp. is undergoing a changing of the guard.
Executive director Brad Baker, a former developer and computer entrepreneur, has been at the housing corporation's helm since October and he hopes to have a new management team in place during the early part of this year.
New agency personnel won't be the only thing that's different, as Baker expects an increased volume of "taxable tails" on state housing deals. Although Florida Housing isn't likely to sell bonds prior to sometime in March, Baker explained the latest cycle of requests is in and illustrates a substantial jump in the use of taxable financing.
