Claremont Foundry, Inc., a subsidiary of Atchison Casting Corp., Atchison, Kansas, has secured its first order for castings from Systems & Electronics, Inc. (SEI). These castings will be used on a military trailer for the M1 family of Abrams main battle tanks. Work at Claremont has begun for these cast steel suspension components that will be delivered over the next 36 months. The total contract value is worth more than $3 million.
