The Commission's delegation is being headed by the Director-General in charge of Trade Hans-Friedrich Beseler, and the Chinese team by Deputy Foreign Trade Minister Long Yongtu. Officials say much of the focus of the talks has been on the services sector, including negotiations on such key sectors as telecommunications, financial services (banking, insurance and securities), brokerage, distribution, tourism and professional services (lawyers and accountants).
