Article: State Department issues human rights report.

WASHINGTON, Feb.24, (UPI)

The State Department blasted China's crackdown on dissidents, religious groups and Tibet on Friday, saying that Beijing's "human rights record deteriorated markedly" last year.

The comments are part of an annual State Department survey of human rights practices in nations around the world.
