The local SAUDI CONSOLIDATED ELECTRIC CO. FOR THE SOUTHERN REGION (SCECO-SOUTH) recently awarded a power plant construction contract to the SAUDI BINLADIN GROUP of Saudi Arabia. According to the terms of the award, SAUDI BINLADIN will be responsible for expanding the installed power generating capacity at towns in the Asir Region which will include Abha, Jizan and Najran.
