PROJECT OVERVIEW
The local TAIWAN INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT BUREAU is currently said to be gearing-up to build a liquified natural gas (LNG) terminal in Taiwan. The new complex, of undisclosed cost, is to be sited at the Changpin Industrial Park in Changhua County, central Taiwan. The project reportedly calls for the construction of a series of wharves on an existing channel in the park.
The planned facility is reportedly intended to enable the supply of LNG to a new natural gas-fired power plant that is reportedly being planned by TAIWAN POWER CO. This proposed station, to be built at Changpin, is expected to require an investment of some $295,000,000 ...
