The euro has arrived! Or has it? What exactly is a euro? And where did it come from? While almost everyone is familiar with the problems associated with the year 2000, the euro has received much less attention. Ironically, the euro affects business much more profoundly. Businesses are having to make some major changes in their operations.
The euro is the new single currency for 11 of the 15 countries that are members of the European Union (EU).
