Mar. 3--As Boeing engineers and technical workers in Seattle enter the 24th day of a strike, officials of Boeing's engineering union have asked the company to resume talks in Wichita.
"We're looking at it; we're evaluating it; we think it's a very good idea," said Dick Ziegler, a Boeing Wichita spokesman. "We have not officially gone back to the union (with an answer)."
Doug Ritter, a member of the negotiating team for the Boeing Wichita engineers, said he is hopeful the two sides can meet within the next two weeks.
