On Jan. 10, 2000, E*Garden, Inc., officially launched the first business-to-business e-commerce Web site (http://www.egarden.com) focused on the lawn and garden industry. E*Garden was created to bring together buyers and sellers of lawn and garden merchandise, and to provide them with new, complementary supply and distribution channels.
