Abstract
The musical characteristics of the noninstrumental Minhe Mangghuer wedding songs performed in the homes of the bride and groom in Minhe Hui and Mangghuer (Tu) Autonomous County, Qinghai Province, are examined. In terms of musical characteristics, there is no great leap from one note to another. Although there are many lines in some songs, there are only one or two key lines in terms of musical characteristics. Other lines are similar with limited variation.
