Mar. 10--Michael Roche is a "go-to" kind of guy.
When GPU Energy needed to wrap up the $1 billion cleanup of the damaged Three Mile Island nuclear power plant in Pennsylvania, it turned to Roche, a one-time oceanographer. When it needed someone to run the aging Oyster Creek nuclear plant, the nation's oldest commercial reactor, it tapped Roche.
Now, GPU has turned to the 55-year-old Long Valley resident once again.
