Mar. 7--ALISO VIEJO, Calif.--Maybe someday Robert Grambo will get out of the back room and into the front office. But at least for now, he's at the front of the back room in his new job.

Grambo, 36, was hired as the new chief executive of two-year-old Internet start-up BuyNow.com Monday, the same day his former employer, $28 billion computer distributor Ingram Micro, hired former GTE executive Kent Foster as CEO.
