So who is Al Gore likely to pick as his vice presidential running mate, the man or woman he'd expect to stand loyally behind him, clapping at all those State of the Union speeches?
As early as it may seem to speculate on the veepstakes, with the Democratic National Convention still five months away, the buzz on running mates has started.
