Good things come in small packages. Or so we believe at this magazine, where the front section we call the Eye consistently carries some of the shortest-but most interesting-pieces we publish. The beauty of the Eye is that it has no rhyme or reason, no real mission other than to cover the social waterfront: the newest It girl, the freshest actor, the most dazzling writer. It is where you'll find the best party pictures and the worst fashion victims. It is the place for spicy quotes and pithy retorts. It is where we find a home for all those things labeled--God forgive us--"hot" when they have nowhere else to go.
