Richard L. Rubenstein was president of the University of Bridgeport from 1995 to 1999. He is distinguished professor of religion and director of the Center for the Study of Religion, Ethics, and International Affairs at the University of Bridgeport. Rubenstein is the author of After Auschwitz (Johns Hopkins University Press, 1992), The Cunning of History (HarperCollins, 1975), The Age of Triage (Beacon Press, 1983), and the coauthor with John K. Roth of Approaches to Auschwitz (Westminster/John Knox, 1986).
