DR RADHA Thambirajah has a calming presence about her. When she says it is only a pin prick and won't hurt a bit, you actually believe her.
And as an acupuncturist of 30 years, she certainly knows what she is talking about.
The 48 year-old is both a qualified Birmingham doctor and acupuncture practitioner, but gave up mainstream medical work around ten years ago to concentrate on the complementary side.
