IT is easy to book tickets for a ballet, the theatre or an opera and simply slide into your seat before curtain up.
But how many of us actually realise the work and preparation that goes into putting on a show on stage?
Maeve Quigley followed the touring production of Northern Ballet Theatre Company's Carmen during their stay at Belfast's Grand Opera House and discovered that the work which produced professional performances each day was nothing compared to the planning involved behind the scenes.
