I READ in a national gardening magazine this week a silly little typographical error, but if you had followed it you would have had no flowers on your clematis year in or year out.
You have to be extremely careful with clematis.
They look a complicated family but really the pruning of them can be very simply divided into two main groups.
Those that flower before August 1 generally flower on older stems that have already got flower buds present.
Those that flower after August 1 have plenty of time to make new stems and time to produce new ...
