A COVENTRY-BUILT Jaguar is set to become the most expensive British car in history with an expected price tag of pounds 1.3 million.
The D-Type that won the Le Mans 24-hour Endurance race in 1956, last passed hands for a record pounds 10,000 in 1970 when it was sold to an anonymous Scottish bidder.
