Campbell Soup Co., Camden, NJ, is voluntarily recalling approximately 109,000 pounds of vegetable beef condensed canned soup because the soup may contain metal contamination, announced USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service.
The product being recalled is 10 ½ ounce cans of "Campbell's Healthy Request Vegetable Beef Condensed Soup," with the code "SEP 01 09279" and "EST 4K DEAL (plus 4 digits indicating military time)" ink-stamped on the end. The product was distributed to the retail level in Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, and Texas.
