A MAN who stabbed and shot a taxi driver leaving him bleeding badly is being sought by police in Birmingham.
The man hailed the taxi in Blake Lane, Bordesley Green, and asked to go to Aldi supermarket a short way away.
But as they approached the store, he asked the driver to pull over, and unzipped a white holdall, from which he produced a pellet gun.
He put the gun to the driver's head and pulled the trigger, leaving a pellet embedded in his forehead.
The taxi driver was shocked but then tried to grab the gun.
