Elephants are always an emotional topic for discussion. Ten years ago, the world was told that only a ban on the trade in ivory could save the African elephant from extinction.
Now some ecologists claim that game park culling is crucial to maintaining bio-diversity and the habitat that elephants need to survive.
Without culling, they argue, there would be no elephants at all.
Adrian Pennink's film was shot on the great elephant reserves of Kenya and the communal lands of Zimbabwe and the Kruger National Park in South Africa.
