Musselburgh Grammar was named Scotland's worst school this week after inspectors arrived in the middle of a pitched gang battle in the playground. Yesterday, Joan Burnie ventured into the school to find out herself what is going on.IT'S known as the Honest Toun and in its coastal setting, Musselburgh is as pretty as its twin towns Rosignano Marittimo in Italy and Champigny-sur-Marne in France sound.
Not the sort of place, with its good granite houses and tree-lined avenues, where one would expect to find the worst school in Scotland.
