As the bar for engine performance, durability and emissions is raised, engine manufacturers and their suppliers are seeking the next level in engine component technology. As a piston supplier in the automotive and heavy-duty engine markets, Mahle Inc., is one of the companies leading that effort and recently the company introduced a new piston size to its latest generation of Ferrotherm articulated pistons for diesel engines.
