Proxima Technology Inc, Houston, Texas, supplier of solutions for service-level measurement, reporting and notification, has announced support for the Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) in alarmmanage, their application alert notification tool.
alarmmanage provides IT organizations with a fail-safe alert notification solution. With alarmmanage, system administrators and operations staff are immediately notified of problems by pager, email and now WAP enabled wireless devices. Users with WAP devices can further investigate and acknowledge problems directly, without the need to login to the system via a traditional systems management console.
