MDCC Theatre Company, the Moseley-based group which specialises in touring its Shakespearian productions both at home and abroad, had a special reason for choosing Macbeth as its play for this year's series of outdoor presentations.
One of MDCC's regular venues is Pembroke Castle. Members have been there every year since 1975, which means that this summer's visit marks the silver jubilee of the tradition - which started with a production of Macbeth.
