W e all assume that vitamins and minerals are good for us - the perfect way to keep skin glowing, eyes sparkling and hair glossy.
But nutritionists are worried that in the quest for the perfect diet we are feeding ourselves too many vitamin supplements, which could be causing more health problems than they solve.
The problem was highlighted last month when a young Welsh girl, who had been consuming up to one and a half litres a day of the fruit drink Sunny Delight, turned bright yellow.
