In the centre of Chelmsley Wood, cornered by the police station on one side, the public library on another and the hospital on a third lies a small insignificant looking building, rather similar to a train carriage.
The Chelmsley Wood Citizens Advice Bureau is one of the oldest institutions in Chelmsley Wood and despite the rather shabby look it has helped more than one million people with everything from legal advice to help with filling out official paperwork, debt counselling and tribunal representation, since it first opened in 1971.
