Steve Butler has grown a moustache. Not for vanity's sake, but because a cold sore on his upper lip has made it impossible for him to shave.
The cold sore is the result of being struck down with a nasty bout of hay fever.
"For the past couple of weeks, my nose has done nothing but stream and a cold sore developed - as it tends to do every time I get hay fever," explains the Birmingham computer operator. "I couldn't shave properly, so I decided there was nothing for it but to grow a moustache. I suppose the added benefit is that no one can see the cold sore ...
