The Mediterranean Tea Room in Kings Heath is a tea room by day and a restaurant by night. Just as a woman goes shopping in her jeans and macintosh during the afternoon but at nightfall transforms herself into a vamp, so this little eaterie undergoes a metamorphosis come 7pm at the end of the week.
In the daytime, the tea room is a cheerful cafe. It serves herby teas, veggie burgers, omelettes and glasses of cola. It's a place to drop in with bags of shopping and have a cuppa with scones or a teacake.
On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays between 7pm and 10pm, ...
