ROUND 1: Lewis connects first with left hook and instantly goes on offensive, measuring out his left jabs. Holyfield catches Lewis off balance with right to body and connects with follow-up left hook. On bell, Holyfield lifts Lewis off his feet to draw warning from referee Arthur Mercante Jnr.
ROUND 2: Lewis gets his dangerous jab working and catches Holyfield on ropes with cutting right hands. Holyfield is having problems getting inside the reach of Lewis who remains in early ascendency. Already, Lewis's overhand right appears by far the most dangerous weapon.
