As the jet gathered speed on the dusty runway, Lucille McLauchlan gripped her arm-rest and shut her eyes.
For 17 long months, she had lived the life of a common criminal in a crowded, filthy jail.
Now, feeling the Saudi soil drop away beneath her, she knew she was finally going home to the husband and family she loved.
"When I felt the plane take off, I was so overwhelmed I started clapping and cheering," said Lucille, 32.
"I knew my ordeal was finally over and my new life was just beginning. I had my freedom. I was living again."
