Jack Ma, chairman and chief executive officer of Alibaba.com Corporation ("Alibaba"), officially announced to Europe the first business-to-business online trading site run out of Greater China. The site was launched in Hong Kong to the Asian market in October and with minimal marketing already has over 150,000 registered members in over 180 countries. Jack Ma predicts that over 100,000 UK businesses will be using the service by the end of 2002.
