USAIR OCTOBER RPMS UP 15 PERCENT, LOAD FACTOR RISES TO 65.5 PERCENT
WASHINGTON, Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- USAir reported the best October in its history for revenue passenger miles flown and passengers boarded in scheduled
service, erasing old marks set in October 1986.
Revenue passenger miles flown were 1.1 billion, an increase of 14.8 percent over October 1986, while available seat miles rose 10.7 percent. October passenger load factor was 65.5 percent, up 2.3 points from 63.2 percent in October of last year. Passenger boardings were 2,198,817, up 8.3 percent over October 1986.
