ALASKA AIRLINES FLIGHT ATTENDANTS RATIFY NEW CONTRACT

WASHINGTON, Nov. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- The 920 Alaska Airlines flight attendants, represented by the Association of Flight Attendants, AFL-CIO, today approved by ballot a new three-year contract with an amendable date of Oct. 1, 1990.

The new agreement includes an average 12 percent increase for the flight attendants who have been hired on the B-scale, the lower level of the two-tier pay scale. The flight attendants on the higher level of the pay scale will not receive a pay increase and will undergo a longevity pay freeze during 1988.
