QMy three-year-old neutered tom cat has started to spray in the kitchen, which he never used to do before. He started it when our new neighbour's cat began coming in through our cat flap. What can we do?
AYour cat is probably upset and confused because another cat is intruding into his home. He is spraying in your kitchen to mark his territory and to tell the other cat to get lost. I'd suggest fitting a cat flap that will open only for your cat, activated by a magnet on his collar. That way the other cat won't be able to get in and yours will be happier.
