Artificial Intelligence Looms From Picanol?
Will Picanol, one of the two weaving machine companies that introduced bidirectional computer technology to weaving machines in 1985, have an artificial intelligence system available by the time the next ITMA rolls around?
A company spokesman told DNR at the International Textile Machinery Exhibition (ITMA '87) that the company is in a three-stage program along these lines.
