My first memory...
I've got a couple of these. One is of my Nanny Burke wheeling me in a pushchair which had white-walled tyres - I've liked car tyres like that ever since. She had a severe face but was very kind. The other memory is of being in the car as we entered a tunnel and of me saying, "It's dark in ...
