FORMER Monaghan great Eugene 'Nudie' Hughes believes his county can topple the might of Derry at Celtic Park on Sunday - but admits it would be a major shock if the Oak Leaf county are beaten.

Hughes was recognised all over the country for his shooting skills in the 1970s and '80s and is still terrorising defences - and coaching youngsters.

He's also a regular team-mate of current Monaghan manager Eamonn McEneaney at club level in Castleblaney.
