SACKED Dundee boss John McCormack last night claimed he was axed after refusing to give in to the board's demands he sign a player they'd picked but he didn't rate.

He also accused Chief Executive Peter Marr of lying about the reasons for the dismissal when he talked to reporters on Sunday.
