The lectures at Birmingham Cathedral during the summer and early autumn, in preparation for the Exhibition of Burne-Jones's work coming to the Museum and Art Gallery, have rightly been concerned with the procession of the four great windows in the Cathed ral: the Nativity, Crucifixion, Ascension and Last Judgement.
The windows were designed over a period of 20 years, and our speakers have described Burne-Jones as a painter and designer.
