Gasohol Not Primary Pick As an Alternative Fuel, Amoco Executive Claims
As alternatives for generating more energy supply, stripper crude, oil shale, coal liquefaction and tar sands can supply more energy at lower cost than ethanol used in gasohol, said Jerrold Levine, director, corporate studies, Amoco Oil Co.
"It's poor public policy to single out and subsidize one energy option when other more cost effective options are available,' he continued.
