English referees have expressed concern that incidents of `play-acting' in the World Cup could find their way into the domestic game.
Laurent Blanc became the 21st player to be dismissed during this year's tournament when Croatian counterpart Slaven Bilic, of Everton, fell to the ground clutching his face in apparent agony after the French defender's gentle push in Wednesday night's se mi-final.
Now Philip Don, the Premier League's referees' officer, is praying that such incidents do not occur in the English game.
