AIDS TESTING FOR 1978-85 BLOOD-TRANSFUSION RECIPIENTS

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- The Hospital Council of Southern California and the Los Angeles County Medical Association (LACMA) issued a general advisory today, suggesting that all patients who received blood transfusions in hospitals between 1978 and March 1985 visit their physicians and consult with them regarding an AIDS test.
