A friend told a very funny joke the other day which reduced a group of colleagues to helpless laughter. It happened to be an extremely rude joke - previously told, she said, by none other than Mo Mowlam, the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland.
Though she will go down in history for her part in pulling off one of the most important peace deals in history, the grufoiced politician will also be remembered for her colourful language.
